Installation

Add Ping to your room

  1. Copy https://obr-ping.ex-asperis.com/manifest.json.
  2. In your Owlbear Rodeo profile, choose Add Extension and paste the URL.
  3. Enable Ping for a room. The GM can then choose which Ping types players may create.
Privacy & storage

Ephemeral by design

Ping has no backend. Interactions and responses remain in Owlbear room metadata until an authorized user removes them. Ballot identities are never shown in the interface, but room metadata is technically inspectable. The GM-facing meter tracks Ping’s use of Owlbear’s shared 16 KB room budget.
